I am starting to wrap up my presentations for RIACon 2012 in Silver Springs MD, Aug 6th-7th. I am fortunate enough to be able to give two presentations, the first is “HTML5 Overview” and the second is “Why do you do that with your JavaScript?”
The first presentation is always fun, HTML5 has a lot of cool little nuggets that always makes giving this presentation fun. This one wont be as in depth as my previous deep dives at cfObjective 2011 and NCDevCon 2011, this will only be an hour, but it will be fun.
The second presentation is really geeking me out, “Why do you do that with your JavaScript?” Often times people ask me that as a question, or I ask them the same or even just think it. I know the title can sound a little off putting, but it’s really just a reminder to ask yourself why you do what you do, as well as to ask others the same. It’s all about learning and having fun. The topic is broad but we will hit on some common areas that beginners to intermediate developers will find interesting.
Well, back to working on those presentations. Demo apps are the real fun part
