Well, most people are watching football but I decided to mess around with the Ribbit Flex SDK today.  Wow, is it easy and fun.  I have uploaded a .zip of an Air application I created that allows you to make phone calls and send text messages via the Ribbit api.  Please feel free to download it and try it out.  Although you will need to sign up for your own Ribbit developer account.

For those of you  who are not familiar with Ribbit I recommend that you check them out at www.ribbit.com.  Ribbit provides an api that allows you to make and recieve phone calls, as well as send and recieve text messages, via your Flash based web application.

So instead of writing up a tutorial I zipped up my app for you to disect.  Check it out and visit the Ribbit site for all the tutorials you can imagine.  This api will make you look like a genius before the leftover turkey goes bad.
